 | Capricorn Mohair Knitting Yarns in Balls and Cones
You can purchase all three of our Mohair knitting yarns in 50 gm balls, and some colours are also available on cones. So if you have a favourite hand knit pattern you want to knit, or you are a machine knitter - look no further! You can select from any of the 85 colour options shown on the colour charts on this Web Site! Knitting Balls: You can purchase balls of all three yarns in packs of 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 x 50gm Balls.
Cones: Brushed Chunky is available in various cone sizes in some colours, and Brushed 4 Ply in 250 gm and 350 gm cones in some colours. If you need other sizes, please 'phone or E Mail your requirement for a quotation.
POST & PACKING.
All our Knit Kit prices include Post & Packing, by 1st Class Post to all areas in the U.K., so that you don't have any "hidden extras" to pay. However, as purchased quantities of Knitting Balls vary from order to order, we need to add a P&P element to "yarn only" orders under £20. We have therefore included a P&P (U.K.) cost in all the smaller quantity "Ball prices" shown on this page (approx £2.50 per item).
If you purchase more than one item (e.g. three 2 ball packs of different colours) the prices may therefore, include more than one P&P charge. In this case we will manually deduct any overcharge before despatching and charging your order.
Other Countries. P&P costs for deliveries outside the U.K will be added to your total order at the Check Out.

Brushed Yarns

| We have two Brushed Mohair Yarns available, both of which are suitable for hand or machine knitting. Both yarns are usually available from stock in the number of shades indicated below. Brushed Chunky Mohair - 82% Mohair 9% Wool, 9% Nylon - 40 colours This yarn has approx 100 mts to a 50 gm ball and usually knits on 5mm (U.K. size 6) needles. A typical Stocking stitch tension is 16sts and 22 rows to 10x10 cms. Superfine Brushed 4 Ply Mohair
- 82% Mohair 9% Wool, 9% Nylon - 40 colours
. This yarn has approx 200 mts to a 50 gm ball and usually knits on 4mm (U.K. size 8) needles. A typical tension is 26sts and 32 rows to 10x10 cms. |
